INTRODUCTION TO RULES AND RULES
SEASON REGULATIONS
The TSL Formula 2026 championship is advertised for unlimited drivers.
2026/1. Skin rules
In season it is possible to create a skin for your formula and helmet. If you want it to be seen in photos and videos, you have to send the skins in Send Files in the TSL Cup section. On the skin, you can edit the car number and add elements such as logos or the driver's name tag, but nothing more. You can completely customize the helmet.
2026/2. Setups
In the season, the setups are locked, which means that everyone has the same conditions on the track.
2026/3. Race informations
You will always have information about the race in the calendar and server settings in the rules. You can also find all the settings and things about the race on the main page of the website in events.
2024/4. Trophies
In the TSL Cup, the winner of each part of the season gets a cup and at the end the winner gets the overall cup for winning the season.
2022/5. Protests
It is possible to file a protest after the race, but only within 48 hours after the end of the race. League management then has 96 hours to review the protest. Riders can file protests on discord in the protests section.
RULES FOR DRIVERS
Please follow the rules as much as possible.
1. Chat
It is permitted before qualifying and the race. It may not be used in qualifying and the race.
2. Flags
- A green flag means the track is clear. The starter waves the flag, for example, after the Safety Car phase.
- The blue flag is waved to a slower rider who is close to being overtaken by a faster rider. The former must then allow the faster rider to overtake at the earliest opportunity.
- A yellow flag warns of a danger on the track, usually an accident. If the marshal shows the flag, it is forbidden to overtake and slow down in the qualifying sector.
- The black and white flag warns of unsportsmanlike behavior or a violation of the rules. If the pilot continues the behavior that was the reason for the warning, he risks a penalty.
- The checkered flag signifies the finish of the race.
3. A safety phase may be declared during a race after a major collision.
When the Safety Car is announced, all drivers will receive a visual warning. In a few moments, a physical SAFETY CAR will be on the track and waiting for the race leader. The length of the Safety Car can range from a minimum of 1 lap to 3 laps. When the SC signal is displayed, drivers are not allowed to overtake until the signal is given that the Safety Car will enter the pits at the end of the lap and the race will be restarted on the finish line.
4. Driver is not allowed to shorten the track - a shortening is considered to be done if the driver leaves the track with all tires. (The track is marked with lines). He is also not allowed to cross the lines at the exit from the pits.
5. Driver must make at least one pit stop and change tires during the race. Does not apply to wet starts.
6. In qualifying, you cannot use the ESC key to leave the track and then return. Using ESC once outside the pits means you are out of qualifying.
7. The season features dynamic weather and the possibility of using wet tires.
PENALTIES
Incident investigations take place within 92 hours of the race.
8.0/ Dangerous return to the race track +20 seconds at the finish
- If a dangerous return directly endangers another driver on the track and the driver has to change direction or leaves the track, the incident is assessed with a penalty of +20 seconds at the finish. If the driver does not endanger any driver in the vicinity and the other driver does not slow down or change direction, the culprit is not penalized. If the driver does not finish, he is penalized in the riding evaluation.
8.1/ Single participant collision at fault Moderate+15 seconds at the finish, High+25 seconds at the finish
- A slight collision fault means that the driver hit the opponent and damaged his car, or the opponent had to leave the track slightly. A high fault means that the driver really shot down the opponent and caused serious damage to the car, the opponent had to leave the track for a longer period of time, or even eliminated the opponent from the race. Finally, there is no penalty if it is a minor bump that did not technically damage the opponent's car or significantly affect it. If the driver does not finish, he is penalized in the driving evaluation.
8.2/ Causing a collision with multiple participants +30 seconds at the finish
- This means that a driver knocks down more than one competitor in such a way that his opponents end up off the track or have to withdraw from the race.
8.3/ Violating pit lines and pit speed limits +30 seconds at the finish
8.4/ Dangerous behavior on the track Qualification DQ
- If a driver cannot control his car on the track and performs dangerous maneuvers, violates flags, is too slow and endangers faster drivers, or has a high PING, he will receive a penalty for the next race, namely a ban on qualifying.
8.5/ An illegal violation of an ESC rule during the qualifying period will be investigated after the race. +30 seconds at the finish
8.6/ Failure to respect the blue flag in the race, if repeated, the driver receives a double penalty +10 seconds at the finish
